Service Obligation
Ion exchange India Ltd assures its customers that it will ensure that the products
purchased by its customers will be put in working condition for a period of 5 years
after installation.
However it cannot guarantee Replacement of plastic parts and bodies after the product
has been discontinued but all parts necessary to the put the product in working
condition will be made available.
In case the company is not in a position to put the product in working condition
it will offer exchange at a cost taking into consideration depreciated value of
the product.
Warranty Conditions
All Ion exchange products have a warranty of one year from the date of installation
at the customer’s residence. However consumables like filters and RO membrane is
not covered under warranty.
In case, it is observed that the condition of water is not suitable for the product,
service will advise pre-treatment of the water at additional cost before installation.
For 15 litres and above and softeners, water test from an approved laboratory is
mandatory. Relaxation of the water test Can only be given if the product happens
to be in area where a similar product is working satisfactorily with the same source
of water supply
Repairs will have warranty for a period of one month and no service charges will
be levied if the product fails within one month of repairs so also the parts which
have been replaced earlier.
3 MS (Mandatory Service) calls and all filters and membranes will be replaced during
contract period for smooth working of the product failing which RSM is authorized
to extend warranty of the product and offer discount for reconversion of ACMC.
AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) : It is an extended warranty contract. Under this
contract, the services will be given free of cost, but the parts will be chargeable.
ACMC (Comprehensive) : It is an extended warranty contract. Under this contract,
neither the service, nor the parts are chargeable. This contract, if taken, will
do all the service required free of cost.
Service to customers will be within 40kms of the branch location and for service
beyond this limit actual to and fro travel cost will be levied to customers. No
ACMC is to be taken beyond 40 Kms.
